Editorial Standards

How we earn reader trust.

Originality

We publish original writing created for this site. Press releases, brand education, and other publications may inform research, but their wording and structure are not republished as our own.

Research and claims

We favor primary research, established dermatology guidance, regulatory material, and full ingredient lists. Cosmetic benefits are described proportionately. We do not turn early research, supplier data, or a single user experience into a medical promise.

Product evaluation

We consider formula context, packaging, usability, skin-type fit, value, and disclosed testing conditions. A higher concentration is not automatically better, and a gifted product is not automatically recommended.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections are made promptly. Articles show an updated date when their substance changes. Readers and brands may flag factual issues through the contact page; editorial conclusions remain ours.

Commerce separation

Affiliate revenue may support the publication, but commissions do not determine inclusion, ranking, or language. Sponsored work is labeled before the reader reaches the commercial message.
